Nurture the Green

It’s the summer of green, and I’m here for it! First, because of so much rain in Northeastern USA, my environment is super lush and all you see is overgrown green foliage. Second, I’ve been wearing green – all different shades – and really rockin’ it (or at least I think so). And third, I’m eating (and growing!) lots of high vibe green foods…hope you are too.

In Hindu, green represents peace and nature.  In Ireland, it represents luck and freedom. In many Asian cultures, it represents good health and prosperity. I read that all shades of green have a rejuvenating effect on the nervous system (which is why my logo is forest green 🥳).

The heart chakra is a vibrant shamrock green, and interestingly, it’s ground zero for: 1. the thymus gland, 2. the lungs and 3.the heart. The thymus keeps our immune system strong. The lungs keep us breathing big. And the heart helps us live with love and vitality. Of course we want this energy vortex in tip top shape. So think greennotice green, wear greeneat green and say yes to cardio workouts, heart expanding movements (like back bends and chest stretches) and heart chakra tapping, for they all nurture the green.

This is my kind of color therapy. It might not be the end-all-be-all, but I swear there’s something to it. Hope your week is off to a great start –Let’s Move!Â
