Drop By Drop

I love feeling strong. I love having good balance. It feels good to stand up straight. Cardiovascular endurance is such a great asset. My mobility is on fleek! 

These are affirmations that just rise to the surface – and become facts – when you move a little bit every day. The daily habit of moving is an open secret. When we see fit and vibrant people, we always want to know, are they kickboxing, bootcamp-ing, or do they do extreme Pilates for hours at a time? The answer might be yes or it may be no, but you want to know what is a definite yes?  They move their body everyday.

“Drop by drop is the water pot filled,” is a buddhist saying that I heard long ago. It always comes to mind when I think of the daily habit of movement. A walk around your block? Drop. A 30minute online workout? Drop. A round of tennis? Drop. It all adds up!  

It need not be complicated, just move. Some days will align for big workouts, but epic or not we’re filling the pot!
