On the Hunt for Heroes

One thing that I do, that may seem benign but is actually quite powerful, is I hunt for heroes. Heroes are any person or creature I admire and who inspires me. Yesterday, I met a woman with the most well-behaved German Shepherd dog. Her self-assuredness stopped me in my tracks, and her super cool dog reflected her strong energetic leadership. And when I read the Harry Potter books many moons ago, I remember thinking, “OMG, JK Rowling is a once-in-a-lifetime creative…and she’s on the planet at the same time as me. Wow!”

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. They can be near or far, dead or alive, and can even be real or fiction. (Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre is a big hero of mine!) Heroes provide vital spiritual nourishment, and thanks to my “hero hunting skills” I feel very well-fed.

Don’t you want to be well-fed? Go out and get yourself some new heroes. You may have some already, but there’s always room for more, right?  Add to your hero collection, and get an inspiration refresh, by seeking some high vibe beings that nourish your soul and make you go, “Wow.” Once you start looking, they pop up everywhere (even on a hiking trial and in the pages of a book.)

Let’s Move! And let’s be wowed.
