Moving the Needle

I often get asked things like, does a weekly affirmation make a differenceDoes drinking more water change anythingCan a 15minute workout really move the needle? My answer is…nope! 

However, the micro affects the macro when you stay the course. Little by little, brick by brick, step by step, day by day, the accumulative effects of your thoughts, words, and actions move the needle. 

“Little by little, a little becomes a lot.” 

In my own life, one affirmation doesn’t do much, but I’ve programed myself to always be on the hunt for great statements and uplifting phrases. I’m super tuned into the things I say to myself and to others, so you better believe my words are working for me. A one-off affirmation isn’t game-changing, but I am living proof that consistently steering one’s thoughts and words towards empowerment is. 

The same goes for nutrition and for movement – the micro affects the macro. That 15minute workout you’re squeezing in today? It might appear like nothing much. However, it’ s a VIP (very important part) of your wellness journey. What is the ocean, but a multitude of water drops?

So keep on keepin’ on, ladies and gentleman. You’re heading in the right direction. Everything we do today will eventually bring us to a whole new reality.
