Love Wins
There are three exercise modes: autopilot, force, and love. The autopilot mode is like brushing your teeth. It’s just another chore one is inclined to do and there’s no real emotion behind it. The force mode is like getting on your roof to clean out the gutters. It takes some goading, and there are varying degrees of dread. The love mode is like a gardener tending to her beloved roses. It’s enjoyable, soul-feeding, and she can’t wait to get her hands in the dirt.
Autopilot is blah. It’s got zero energy behind it. Force is fear, which activates adrenals, might do more harm than good, and eventually becomes unsustainable. The opposite of fear is love. Love is intrinsically motivated, which gives us energy….meaning you’ll be there with bells on!
The love mode is where it’s at, ladies and gentlemen! Autopilot and force are totally passé. They’re dunzo! When it comes to movement, fitness, and empowered wellness, love wins!
How does one find the love mode? Put the focus on how you feel, find movement that feels good, and have reverence for your one & only miraculousbody. That’s it – just three, easy peasy steps.
It’s 2025 and I declare it’s the love era. The time is now for your workout to be Invigorating not irritating, giving not depleting, and inspiring not humdrum.
