How to Be a Powerful Woman
There’s a term in our culture, a woman’s intuition, that references how women can be extra clued into an inner knowing. In fact, upon googling a woman’s intuition, the first thing that pops up is: feminine energy is intuitive. However, to throw a wrench in it all, when you scroll down on that very same page, you’ve got a sponsored medical site that avers, “There’s no such thing as a woman’s intuition.”
Well, as a woman, and also as someone who knows women and spends all day with women, I say a women’s intuition is totally legit! Here are five other things I find to be true when it comes to your intuition:
#1 Mindful movement helps strength it. That’s because, movement done right embodies you, and with embodiment comes groundedness and presence, which in turn gives you a direct line to your intuition.
#2 It should be a byproduct of getting older. Every day spent on this planet gives us a deposit in our intuitive bank accounts. (That’s right, we’re getting rich with intuition!)
#3 Trusting it is a prerequisite of empowered wellness. Mindful movement gets us to connected to intuition, but it’s up to you to build trust in it.
#4 Beware the modern medical establishment, as it can gaslight us into believing intuition doesn’t exist or cannot be trusted. (Nothing infuriates me more, to be honest.)
#5 With intuition, your ultimate guru becomes you! Yup, you know your body/your self/your world best…can I get an amen? And a woman who knows and trusts her own inner wisdom is incredibly powerful.
Albert Einstein said, “The only real valuable thing is intuition.” Steve Jobs said, “Have the courage to follow your intuition.” And Louise Haye, with the ultimate intuition affirmation, said, “My intuition is always on my side.”
It’s a new moon in Leo this weekend, plus we’re firmly in the second half of 2024…how about strengthening your connection to and trust in your own intuition? How about making “a strong intuitive sense” a major year-end goal? Intuition, and especially a woman’s intuition, is a gigantic asset. To reiterate Louise Haye, “My intuition is always on my side.”
