Data Centers Don’t Know This

Just the other day, I whispered to my husband, “OMG, look, look, look…but be discreet… look at her over there, in the green shirt. Isn’t she amazing?!”

At closer inspection, why is she amazing though?  It’s not a specific shape or size, age or ethnicity, and there’s probably varying degrees of economics. Her fashion sense might be great, but that’s not “it.” What is “it” that makes people stop and go, “Wow, who’s that?”

It’s their energy.

To say someone has “great energy” is vague and nuanced. You can’t put your finger on it, right? “Great energy” is not trackable on a WHOOP or Fitbit. Data centers are blind to it. Why? Because “great energy” goes beyond the physical.

What causes confidence, mental strength and stability, and embodiment? What causes magnetism and glamour? What induces “great energy?”

There are lots of beautiful people out there – lots of picture perfect physical specimens – with blah energy. Oh, they have the low body fat percentage, the wrinkle-free face, and the right resting heart rate, but their energy? Well, often it’s nothing to write home about.

I surmise a certain level of physical vitality is foundational to “great energy,” but it’s beyond the body. It’s an attitude and an aura, a spiritual connectedness, and self-confidence.

#1 Feel good – in body.mind and spirit
#2 Look great – not just visually…there’s a feeling too
#3 Shine bright – all systems are a-go!

Workouts, when done from a place of self-love and with self-awareness, tap into the whole person, not just the body. Step one is the only step you and I can control, which is to feel good. The second and third part (look great and shine bright) are the eventual effects.

The people shining bright (A.K.A., with “great energy”) illustrate two very important  things – things rarely discussed on beauty blogs or mentioned at the doctors office. First, that’s that “great energy” is body, mind and spirit, not just body. And second, feeling good is the catalyst.
